Hello MNMS club members! A new and special tournament is upcoming! To have chess fun for Halloween, a special Chess960 tournament is going to be hosted!

How to play chess960:

To those who don't know how to play chess960, please read this before playing in the tournament! 

Chess960 is a chess variant created by Bobby Fischer (the 11th world chess champion). In this variant, the pieces on the 1st rank and 8th rank are shuffled. There are, however, some rules to how the pieces can be placed! For example, the starting position in this variant can look like this:

Fun fact about Chess960: it is called Chess960, because there are 960 possible starting positions!!
