Happenings in the Scratch Chess Club

For a while now, our group has been steadily growing.  Now that the flood of memberships has slowed down a bit, we have some important events going on.  We hope to see each and every one of you participate!  We're a small group, so each member is key.

Team Vote Chess:  We are engaged in a game against "Chess Ubean the World".  We hope to develop a strong Vote Chess team here!  Help us get off to a great start.  Even if you've never tried Vote Chess before, we ask that you join us today!

Team Match:   The "Viking Horde,Scourge from the North" group has graciously accepted our invitation to a Team Match!  Members who sign up will play two rated, 3-day correspondence games--one as White, one as Black--against a member of the other group.  Sign-ups will end January 5th, so join us today!

Chess Puzzles in the Forums!  Dare-Dare and I have begun posting puzzles in the forums!  The first to solve a puzzle gets "points", and the winners each month win instructional training matches against a 1900s-USCF player and analysis of one of their games!  If you cannot commit the time for Vote Chess or Team Matches, this could be a great way for you to participate in the group!
