Here is some news as we wrap up November and head into December.
"October may have been the month of upsets but November was more predictable, except for the games of 7 year old Jacob Wang- who made his first appearance and impressed us all with his talent. His draw with NM Vadim Kudryavtsev was the shocking highlight of the tournament. His defensive resourcefulness and patience in equal positions was ironic because these are usually the traits of older veteran players. Dakota Rowland returned and played well. Michael Bascon took the under 1600 prize and NM Scott Roods and Marius Lucan shared 1st place. Vadim's half point snag against the youngster was the only thing that kept him from tying for 1st as well." - Paschal
