Have you ever think of the reason the Columbia Shuttle explode in the re entry?

It is because a piece of foam the size of briefcase fell out of the tank and slammed straight into the left wing and it cause a hole in the thermal shield, so in the re-entry the left wing broke and cause the shuttle to blow up. There is a theory by David Baker a former Nasa Engineer is that that when they discover the problem ( when the crew is still in space ) there was a plan that they could send another shuttle and fix the problem because the they didn't have a suitable space suit to walk in space, but Nasa didn't accept it and remain the plan. And 23/9/1961 is the birthday of 1 person in that ship could you guess who it is with out searching on the internet ? I'll post the answer on 23/9/2021 as it is his 60 years old birth day.
