Hawaiian Islands Chess Team is now the HCF's WCL.L representative

The Hawaiian Islands Chess Team, which has been dormant for a couple years, is being re-purposed as the World Chess League.Live (WCL.L) team for the Hawaii Chess Federation. This is being done both to build team spirit among our WCL.L players, and to mitigate the problem of having players who have already played for another WCL.L play for in one of our matches, which league rules do not permit and which lead to forfeit losses for us.

Our first match as Hawaiian Islands will be this Sunday, March 12, beginning at 10:03 am.
