How to Attack in the Endgame?

How to Attack in the Endgame?

Usually, when the game progresses into the endgame, we must shift our reference points and transition from middlegame planning to endgame planning, often focusing on maximizing pieces activity. We try to capture enemy weak pawns and create our own passed pawns, intending to promote them or, at the very least, distract the opponent from their strategic principles.

However, attacking the enemy king is almost never considered. Why?

Well, typically, with fewer pieces on the board, achieving checkmate becomes unlikely. So, why should we attack in the endgame then? This is what I'm going to explain in the webinar.

At the webinar you will understand the importance of preparation - avoid exchanging attacking pieces, eliminate enemy defenders, and position your pieces strategically. This is your chance to master endgame attacking ideas by studying games played by chess masters and world champions.

At the Webinar you will:

  • Acquire potent strategies to master precise targeting in endgame scenarios, gaining a strategic advantage
  • Gain transformative insights that elevate your endgame strategy, providing a distinct competitive edge
  • Learn how to strategically use your king offensively, targeting pawns and contributing to checkmate networks
  • Unlock the strategic potential of versatile piece combinations for organized and effective attacks

The webinar "Attacking in the Endgames" is scheduled for this Sunday (3rd of December) at 11 a.m. (EST), 3 p.m. (GMT), 5 p.m. (CET). I'm glad to invite you all and, of course, your participation is absolutely free, you just need to register here: https://chesslance.com/masterclass/
