The Hungarian Defense originates from the Italian Game. This opening is great for people who are getting trolled through f7. Though a little rarer, it serves its purpose well. The Line goes: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4. White is threatening Ng5 and attack f7 and landing a knight fork there, attacking the queen and rook. A way to defend is 3. ...Be7. This prevents Ng5 because then you can simply take the knight with the bishop. This should be played if the d-pawn is pushed, allowing the bishop to defend the knight.
