How To Update Your Timezone In Chess.com To Receive Notices With The Correct Tournament Start Time

For anyone that received an email with a start time other than 3:00 p.m. for last Saturday's tournament, you may need to change your time zone setting in Chess.com.  To do that, click on "Settings" which is third from the bottom on the left side menu when you first login. On the next page, the third from the bottom option is "Timezone".  I believe it defaults to Greenwich Mean Time, but Union County is in the Eastern (New York) time zone, which is UTC -4 hours.  Select your time zone and don't forget to click "Save" at the bottom to ensure notices are converted to your local time.  Thanks again for joining our club and let us know if you have any questions!
