I Need Your Help!

Hey guys,

As I'm sure you members know, I have been making a big deal about our first arena for about a week and a half now. It was scheduled to be today, but unfortunately, nobody showed up to play and the arena canceled itself. I tried starting another arena but to no avail. Eventually, I just called it off. It was a major disappointment for me. I honestly really got my hopes up on at least a few people coming to play some chess.

Here's the sitch: we clearly need more people for the club. Don't get me wrong; I am so, so grateful for each and every one of our current members. Because of you guys, we hit our goal of 10 members and now we're past 20! But out of all the members here only 1 showed up to the arena... and it was me.

Simply all that I ask is that you help me spread the word of our humble club so we can grow! My dream is to have hundreds (and maybe thousands) of members in this club all playing together in matches and getting along beautifully. 

You might say, "Well, Noah, I would love to help, but how?"

It's easy! The way I have been getting the word out is by using other clubs to post mini-advertisements. That's probably how most of you ended up here. Of course, abide by the laws of the club you post the advertisement on (meaning if they state that they don't want you to post ads or links, maybe find another club). But while doing so, still attempt to make a good advertisement! It would be much appreciated.

Obviously, there are other ways to advertise. Maybe I'll make a blog post on the topic. I've even been considering creating YouTube videos and ads (but maybe we shouldn't go that far just yet). Pretty much whatever you think of works!

I believe that my dreams will come true in the near future and we'll be able to have many events that people of all ages will be able to participate in! I look forward to that day. Until then, let's all work together to create the great environment that this club should be.
