If you still haven't heard
The Musical "Chess" just played to Russian audiences for the first time ever with enormous success. "Chess" was performed Saturday evening, October 17, in Moscow's MDM Theatre in the Russian capital's central Khamovniki District. With a capacity of 1,800 seats, the theater was full. After the performance, Karpov and other dignitaries appeared on stage where Karpov accepted a special gifted chess set. "Chess" is set in the Cold War era when
Fischer, Kasparov and Karpov reigned.
I don't watch much TV or see many movies, and in case you don't keep up either, I just have to tell you, "Queen's Gambit" is a new 7 episode series airing on Netflex. I watched it in 3 sittings, saving the last episode for the 3rd sitting. You may not want to miss "Queen's Gambit."
