Important: Daily Chaturaji Games Schedule

Dear Chaturaji Chess Team,

A lot has been happening recently in the club. We are now on our fourth (if memory serves) owner, and the majority of our players do not seem very active. To remedy this, to expand the club, and to do what this club was founded to do, I have decided to put together the following schedule of games to be played based on any given day of the week.

For now, all the games will take place at 8:00 PM EST—i.e., 12:00 AM GMT. I have chosen this time because I can make it every day with near certainty, and I have every intention of doing so. If there is a desire on the part of the members of the club that this be changed, I will be happy to oblige.

It is indeed with some reluctance that I have chosen to put non-Chaturaji games into this schedule. My initial opinion notwithstanding, these games were put into the schedule on the suggestion of other administrators within the club; this will probably prove to be the more prudent decision.

Due to the nature of in-Club events, I will be scheduling the arenas and Swiss tournaments probably about a week in advance. As for the Raji, the best solution I have is to head over to the variants lobby and start queuing up at 12:00 AM GMT. I will be there for that hour, give or take 10 minutes. We’ll probably be playing 1|5 for the most part. Perhaps, in the future, should this schedule work well, we can plan ahead to have days where we play rapid, hyper, 4m, etc.

I ask that you attend at least one event per week. We have over 150 members now, and should be able to get a fair number of games rolling every day. Even if only four people show up for the Raji, we should get a good turnout, because there will doubtlessly be other players playing who are not in the club. On that note, these Raji games will probably be wonderful opportunities for recruitment!

I will probably not change anything here, but if there is a general vote I am perfectly willing to modify this schedule and will do so in the sidebar (which is to be the place to find the official ‘current’).
