Introduction to Ancient Greek History with Donald Kagan

This is a brilliant lecture series for anyone interested in learning more about Ancient Greece: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL023BCE5134243987. There are 24 one hour long lectures here so plenty to take in if you're into that sort of thing.

If you're interested in Athens in particular then I'd recommend you listen to the 30min Introductory lecture and then skip lectures #2-#9 and go straight to #10 "The Rise of Athens" at the 0h35m30s mark and continue from there.

If you're even more specifically interested in Athenian Democracy then take a look at lectures #15 "Athenian Democracy" and #16 "Athenian Democracy (cont)".
