Updated with Links added: It has been brought to my attention that yet another player in our in house club tournament 6 was caught CHEATING and BANNED.
I try to do inhouse events for all of you for club interaction and commradery. I work pretty hard at it, trying to give you events weekly with the livestream arena's, the in house events and the club vs club events. I put a huge amount of effort in to make this club worthwhile to everyone.
People that cheat selectively, or just flat out use AI, or exploit the new account provisional rating system in place by chess.com to exploit and abuse the provisional rating to gain elo into expert or master rating. By playing and cheating against higher rated players, attaining expert or master elo in a matter of minutes to a few days of creating a newly created acoount. Those players are causing huge damage to the general populous of players on the format that do not cheat or would never think of cheating on chess.com.
I see the damage, because I livestream on twitch and run arena's 5 times a week and also play in them. Even in my unrated arena's there can be at least one or more nightly. It is currently out of control.
In regards to this person that was caught cheating in Inhouse tournaments 6, he has been a club member for over half a year, participated in club vs club events, and in house tournaments. Also is a regular in my twitch chat and a regular in my nightly arena's.
He has also challenged me regularly and I lose most of the time. This situation that has occurred once again, is why when people ask me how do you do over the board vs online chess and they question my response since I get smashed in challenges nightly in online chess. Remember I used to be a 1648 USCF rated player and even now currently a 1470 USCF player, but I have not played in a rated USCF Tournament in 15 years. But I play the guys that have.
I am being completely truthful when people watch my livestream and think I suck at Chess, that I rarely lose over the board. In fact in the 4 tournaments I played with extended time controls, not speed chess in 2024, I had three first place finishes and one second place finish. Usually the only players that beat me are class A players over the board, and I win a few of those, the others that beat me are expert or higher. Yet you see me get challenged online and everyone beats me. Which is extremely frustrating for me because I understand what is going on and really have to smile, grin and bare it!
We even had a popular streamer that I played get caught for cheating, that played in an inhouse tournament and was banned later. A lot of these players and I had really good conversations on twitch. A lot of them I thought were straight up people and I enjoyed their company when I livestream on twitch. Yet for what ever reason they felt the only way too play the game was thru the unethical behavior of cheating in online chess.
Some come back on different accounts under a different name and try to slip in that way. Some blatantly cheat and brashly play in my unrated arena's that I do commentary for and host so people can have a fun night of chess online. It should be a celebration for players to have fun and enjoy those arena's and build commradery with each other as well, as it should have a great following on twitch.
Becuase if people knew that a regular arena 5 nights a week was live streamed with sports commentary as well as hosted, straight up lovers of chess, I would think, would love to play in that. But those who cheat, run those legit players out of the arena as well as frustrate players that play legitimately, and prevent that from ever occurring. It could be an amazing thing nightly, but those that play by illegal means prevent it. They do not think of the concequences.
If any of you actually need to cheat to win, please disband from my Club. To cheat against fellow Club members is pretty disgusting in itself. But if you use AI, orselectly cheat, the effort I put in here for this club is for legit players that do not cheat, that do not take advantage of other people. If you want to hurt those that legitimately have skill in chess, and would never think of cheating in chess, go cheat somewhere else, or stop flipping cheating.
24 hour Daily Tournatment number 3, Inhouse tournament number 6:
Some people will remember Loeb from when he created an account that was 3 days old and I believed he had cheated. So I reported him. I reported him again in another one of my arena's and he was not banned. He even came in my livestream chat and everytime he made a comment, there was a warning box with a red recantagle around his text with the Words: Probable Ban Evader. Which means he was banned by other streamers and only a streamer can see that.
He made a fuss because I reported him during two of my livestream arena's. He created his account on chess.com on April 21st, 2025. So he did not like me reporting him on my livvestream, so he has played in multiple nights for the last month just to dominate those arena's. He has even reported other players. At the start of the following arena below, the highest rated player was 1000 elo. There was no one else that was higher than 1000 when he chose to come in anyway at 2600elo. Why do you think that is?
I actually caught the exploit in a VOD and guess who it was? He messaged me and told me he would have a problem if I posted the video. He wanted me to take it down.
A 4 day old account playing in a rated arena coming in at 1600 and with in seconds gained 600 elo against a 2300elo 2 month old account. That 2300 elo was probably in a lost position, he had it covered for a bit anyway, and suddenly out of the blue resigned. The video shows my arena livestream play by play and seconds later Loeb is a 2234 elo. Master level. The last month we have seen him increase to almost 2700 and just over a month old.
