Jamshedy group & The Muslims

As-salamu alaykum brothers and sisters!

I begin this topic as I am trying to figure out what happened with The Muslims group, now called Jamshedy group.

I didn't get much answers from the posts on notes, I couldn't find any forum topics regarding this, but here's what I figured out so far: The Muslims group had it's name changed to Jamshedy group.

I'm not sure what's the reason for this, but I would surely like to find out.

Jamshedy is the owner of the group, the super-admin and he has the ability (given to him by www.chess.com settings) do what he choses with his group. But he cannot chose for his members and I really think that a name change should have been discussed before applied.

After all, a group also belongs to each and every member of that group and it doesn't seem fair to disregard the opinion of more than 700 members.

I've been promoted to admin back when Jamshedy group was called The Muslims. No one asked me to be an admin (it's a very difficult task to perform, lots of responsibilities and time consuming), but I've done my job gladly and as best I could. Nevertheless, it was the first decision that I've not been asked about and affected me directly.

The changing of the group name is the second decision taken for me without being asked. Insha'Allah, will be the last one on this group. I will leave this one and join The Muslims.

The Muslims group has been recreated here, at http://www.chess.com/groups/home/the-muslims and already 600+ members joined in.

Also, group ISLAM http://www.chess.com/groups/home/islam is an alternative with 1900+ members available for those that left or think of leaving the Jamshedy group.

I have also joined Muslim Chess Masters here http://www.chess.com/groups/home/muslim-chess-masters and this group has 900+ members.
