Jan 31 Friendly K-12 Match vs Ampleforth

On Sun Jan 31 at 2pm, PCS will play a friendly match against Ampleforth College (England), a day and boarding school of approximately 600 MS & HS students (ages 12 to 18).  Ampleforth plans to field 10 to 15 players, so of course it is our goal to do the same.  All K-12 students in PCS Chess are invited to play, and adults are welcome to be "on standby" in case Ampleforth fields more students than PCS; the mutual goal of Ampleforth & PCS is to have an opponent for every student who shows up to play.  Put it on your calendar!
