Advanced Entry: Rapid $25/Blitz $15 Ends 1/7/24

Entry Fee: Rapid $30/Blitz $15 Ends 1/12/24 11:59PM

Onsite: Rapid $40/Blitz $20

**DIRECTOR has DISCRETION to use the HIGHER rating between REGULAR and QUICK rating to DETERMINE SECTION; pairings will be based on QUICK Rating because it is a QUICK RATED EVENT**

Rapid 

5 Rounds Swiss of Game 15 minutes + 10 second increment

Check-in: 8:45-9:30 AM

Round 1 - 10:00am - Players must be seated 5 minutes prior to round for announcements

Round 2 - 11:00am

Round 3 - 1:15pm

Round 4 - 2:15pm

Round 5 - 3:15pm

Byes: Limit one half-point bye if requested prior to first round.
 

Withdrawals: 

If you decide to withdraw from the event, 

YOU MUST NOTIFY DIRECTORS RIGHT AWAY

Rated Blitz

5 Double Rounds of Game 3 minutes + 2 second increment

Check-in: 4:00-4:45 PM

1st round begins at 5:00pm following subsequent rounds end by ~7:00pm

PLAYERS MUST PLAY ALL BLITZ GAMES/ BYES WILL NOT BE HONORED

Parking: 

The Church parking lot space is limited to ~16 cars

Don't worry about the No Parking signs!

Street parking is free on weekends and generally plentiful

There’s paid parking as well around the UWM Campus 

Closest is Union or Lubar Parking Garage $8-10 for the day

Refund Policy: If you register for the tournament and are unable to make it, please notify us at least one hour in advance of the start of round one. If this is done, then Milwaukee Chess will refund your entry fee less the cost of online registration ($1) and payment processing ($0.30 + 2.9% of the entry fee.)
