Our January Monthly Marathon begins Monday January 4th! On Friday January 8th, we will begin the Winter $400 Grand Prix. We have some exciting events scheduled this year including The Kansas City Club Championship!

January 2021 Monday Monthly Marathons ($100 Chess.com Prizes)
Event Schedule: Mondays January 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th.

Monthly: 8SS Games G/35+5. (Game in 35 minutes with 5 second increment with each move.)
Time Control: 2 rounds of G/35+2 each night:
Rounds begin at 6:30PM Central Time: We will pair immediately the second round every night.
Eligibility - Players must have: Current Chess Express Ratings Member $7 a Year
Chess.com Account that is part of The Kansas City Chess Club (free account is perfectly sufficient)

Entry Fee: $20 Each Month
Registration deadline: 2 hours before tournament start time - this is needed to allow time to make sure the chess.com account is set up correctly.
