JCS Summer Chess Challenge 7-25-15

Hello Everyone!

Congratulations to those who played in our first rated tournament last Saturday. Calen Stewart was the undefeated, undisputed champion in the open section with 4 wins and 0 losses. John McGraw came in a close second:) Well, that first game was close:) In the reserve section, Lucas Brand won 1st place in tie-breaks with Aidan McCaleb. Lucas won the first match-up with Aidan, and Aidan won the last match with Lucas. Way to go guys! Jax Kluesner had to leave early, but still secured 3rd Place. Brogan Prater placed 4th in his 1st rated tournament and is now an official member of the US Chess Federation! I will attempt to submit the tournament results sometime today.
