I hope to see y'all tonight for another weekly installment of the Prospect Park Chess Club!  We'll be up to our usual hijinks tonight, so if you're looking to play some Chess over a few brews or a giant pretzel, then join us at HasenStuble at 6!

King of the Hill tournament (next week - Feb 8)

As we recently announced, we'll be hosting a King of the Hill tournament (https://support.chess.com/article/348-king-of-the-hill-koth#:~:text=King%20of%20the%20Hill%20or,of%20the%20four%20central%20squares) next Wednesday, Feb 8, with the first round starting promptly at 7.

In the true spirit of KotH, we decided to score this on our modified house rules:

• 1 point for getting your King on the Hill
• .5 points for checkmating someone (only for winner)
• .5 points for a draw
• 0 points for a loss
• 0 points for Hank Hill quotes (but they will be greatly appreciated nonetheless)
