Keep Your Chess.com Account Safe!

Sadly, there have been a number of successful attempts to compromise people’s Chess.com accounts. Please consider the following tips to keep it from happening to you!

• Don’t give your password to anyone! (We will never send you an email asking for your password.) If anyone else knows your current password, please change your password now!

• Don’t be fooled by fraudulent email offers for “FREE PREMIUM MEMBERSHIPS,” etc. Generally, such false invitations will include a link to a “Login” page, which simply transmits your username & password to a hacker.

If you’re in doubt about a communication that appears to be from Chess.com, please forward it to “support@chess.com” immediately.
