King of the hill (part one)

Hello and welcome back to my variant club! So today we will learn about king of the hill. 
The first thing you need to know is: PLAY NORMALLY. 

Relax. Pretend you aren't playing normal chess. Unless you are playing a weak opponent, playing differently from a standard game is going to end up in a disaster. By the way, this applies for all variants except chess960, bughouse and crazyhouse, but not as strictly. It won't end with a doomsday- scenario. Well, here's an example of what can happen if you don't play normally: (White is the one that does not play normally)

That's one example. Here's another one with white bludering:

Look what happened. Your position is ruined. But when playing on the attacking side against the person who doesn't play normally, you have to be careful too. Here's an example:

You, as black, just blundered the game away! White got his king to the center 4 squares! So you have to be careful.
