Koelle Tournament 2020 on tonight (18/6/2020)
The 2020 Koelle Tournament is commencing tonight at 7:30pm. There will be 2 divisions:
A grade for players with an ACF/provisional rating at 1000 or above; and
Reserve (B) grade for players with an ACF/provisional rating below 1000
Players will start their matches in the same way as was done in the recent Teters tournament, where the player with the white pieces challenged their opponent on chess.com.
Kevin and Jasan will be sending an email to participants with a few tips on how to challenge your opponent on Chess.Com for those who are unfamiliar with the process. If people are still having difficulty with the process at game time, feel free to let us know in the notes section of Chess.Com. Kevin or Jasan will be online to assist (as well as other club members who may be able to help as well).
Once your game is completed, could one of the players please advise us of the result in the Notes section on our Chess.Com page so we can update the fixture for next week.
The draws for both the A grade and Reserve grade can be viewed in the comments section of this article below <scroll down to view>
Time Control is 60 min + 30 sec increment per move.
