Launch of U.S. Chess Federation

Hello Everybody & Merry Christmas!

I recently noticed that the strongest national chess teams on chess.com are Team Romania, Team Russia, Team India, several Philippines teams, etc and USA or America are no where to be found on the leaderboards! Why??

I searched teams and found several American/USA groups but none at the level of Team Romania, Team Russia, etc. Thus I decided to launch a new team: U.S. Chess Federation (name subject to change). Unfortunately, the name,"Team USA" has already be taken so I had to opt for something else.

If you meet any of the following criteria, please go ahead and join U.S. Chess Federation!

- You have a USCF rating

- You are a U.S. citizen

- You are a U.S. resident
