Learning Pawn Open this weekend in Fair Oaks
I post the information for a multi-day, USCF rated, slow chess, OTB tournament this weekend in Fair Oaks, CA. Entries and questions contact learningpawntournaments@gmail.com (not me).
6 round swiss in two sections 1800+ and U1800.
3-day schedule: first game Friday night, three on Saturday, two on Sunday (all G/90 d/5).
2-day schedule: three faster games Saturday (G/60 d/5) , merge for round 4 on Saturday night.
Entry fee $90 for 1800+ and $70 for U1800. $10 fee to play up.
Prize fund: $500-300-200 for 1800+ and $200-100-75-50-50 for U1800.
