FIDE, in their latest assault on creative play, has announced plans to OUTLAW the Sicilian Defence, claiming it’s "too aggressive," "too theoretical," and "psychologically damaging" for beginners. This is nothing short of a war on dynamic chess—an attempt to strip us of our beloved Najdorfs, Dragons, and Scheveningens in favor of dull, "safe" openings.

We cannot let this stand. The Sicilian is the soul of fighting chess, the battleground of legends like Kasparov, Fischer, and Carlsen. If we fall silent now, what’s next? Will the King’s Gambit be banned for "excessive bravery"? Will the Benoni be labeled "too risky"? This is chess tyranny!
