Live Chess World League 2025/S2 Season 14 - ECF Team Fixtures
Hi all,
The much awaited Live Chess World League 2025/S2 (Season 14) is now underway with teams from around the world playing in 5 divisions based on results from previous seasons and with Divisions 3, 4 and 5 split into East and West sections.
The ECF team is in Division 3W with fixtures as listed below for reference. Dates, times and match links will be provided as they become available. Each fixture will be based on two chess.com team matches at 5|2 blitz and then 10|2 rapid time control, with each team match consisting of 2 games against the opposing player on each board at the relevant time control.
All matches will be open to English Chess Federation team members with joining open from an hour before the start time of each match. Players will be allocated to boards in chess.com rating order and will play two games at the relevant time control against an opposing team member on the same board.
At the conclusion of the season, all division champions will be promoted into the next division up for the next season. Do please join us for as many of the fixtures as you can to see if we can win promotion to Division 2, and good luck to all players.
