LOCKDOWN CLUB ACTIVITIES OVER THE COMING 7 DAYS
Greeting Ballarat Chess Club Members and Friends,
Given we are once again confined to our homes Thursday night will again be chess on chess.com. Our junior members are encouraged to participate in any of these events. Thursday Night Arena
In light of the new lockdown imposed on greater Ballarat here are a couple of upcoming events for your enjoyment.
Sunday Online Allegro
On Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm there will be an online Allegro swiss tournament. The tournament will consist of 7 rounds (Less if numbers are less than 14 players) The time controls are 12 minutes + 2 seconds per move. Monday Night Smackdown
On Monday night at 7:30pm there will be a blitz Arena event with time controls of 5 minutes + 5 seconds per move. It runs from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and can be joined here https://www.chess.com/play/arena/1387543?action=undefined&clubId=96232 from 6:30pm
