Lutheran Chess Players Group Activities

Greetings Fellow Lutheran Chess Players!

I have volunteered to assist Preachrboy with the administration of our group.  It has been a long time since we have engaged in chess activities or engaged in consistent dialogue or shared items in our forums.  So, I would like to get more of a sense of the interests of the members with respect to the activities of our group.

Please respond to this news message with input and feedback!

For chess activity, we can begin to participate in Vote Chess and/or Team Matches if there is an interest.  In either case, I believe we should start modestly --- perhaps one Vote Chess game at 3 days per move and/or a team match involving 2 - 4 players.

We can use forum space to share news of interest to the Lutheran community or to discuss faith issues if desired by the group as a whole.  We can also share information in the forums about famous Lutheran chess players (after some appropriate research)!

These ideas are just to get started.  Please feel free to add more.
