Today we have done some very important improvements in many of the group's settings, including the theme, rules, admin quizzes, and pictures. These are listed below:

1. Theme. This is one of the biggest improvements we have made. The group theme has been redone to make the group home page look more artistic and creative, and to make the "lighting" effects more realistic. Pink and blue boxes have been added, along with red borders around the comment boxes and panels. The bar along the top of the page with the main links is now blue, with lighting effects in the color to make it look more realistic (Lighter shade of blue at the bottom, with a darker shade at the top). I was also going to change the font color to red, but it hurt my eyes to look at it, so the font color will not change.

2. Group Rules. We have made some major improvements to the group rules, mostly to have to do with the color-coding. Many rules are now less strict - I have lowered a lot of red "Level 3" rules down to "Level 2" rules, and some "Level 2" rules down to "Level 1" rules. This is because I am not a very strict person, and I would hate to give out a Level 3 warning when only a Level 2 warning was really needed. Other changes include some rules I have just added:

• IF YOU ARE A SUPER ADMIN OF THE GROUP, AND SEND ANY TYPE OF WARNING TO A MEMBER, YOU MUST TELL ALL OTHER SUPER ADMINS ABOUT IT.
• All super admins and regular admins of this group must join our Admin Headquarters group. If you refuse to join the headquarters group, you will be booted from your position as an admin.
• About the first rule about offensive language: Anything that is as bad or worse than the S-word is not allowed (Level 2 warning, second offense within a month raises it to a Level 3 warning), but no warnings should be given to anything less than the S-word.

3. Admin Quizzes. Some of you may not know that any members applying to become an admin will be quizzed. I have improved the quizzes to include a 100-point system and more questions. The Super Admin quiz now has 10 questions, and the regular Admin quiz now has 6. Some questions are now worth more than others, and you can also get partial credit if you just miss one point of the question.

4. Pictures.I have added some group pictures, including a picture of a mattress that I once used as a custom trophy, colored versions of the 3D chessboard, the Funtastic Chessmates! logo, and the old Chess Group! logo. They are for anybody to use.
