As some of you may already know, chess consists of 3 main stages: the Opening, the Middlegame, and the Endgame. in order to be a good chess player, you should maximize your abilities in all three of these areas. We will begin by discussing what the opening is, and tips on how you can successfully navigate through this stage of the game.

The opening are the starting moves of a chess game. It usually transitions into the middle game around move 10-15. The main things you should remember when playing an opening is to prioritize piece development, king safety, and control of the center.
