Hello chess friends!
It is time for our quarterly speed-chess tournament in Albany @ Memorial Middle School! This time we are doing game in 5 minutes with a 2 second bonus. $10 entry fee. Open and K-18 seconds. Please RSVP by Nov 10th with Section and valid, up-to-date USCF ID.
For K-12 players, USCF registrations are free, included in the entry fee.
Check-in is from 11:30-12:15pm, with games starting at 12:30pm. We are going to do 7 games in a Swiss-pairing format, which may be slightly more or less games depending on how many people we have.
Flyer attached. November 11 (11|11) is the day that most resembles corduroy. We will probably have some bonus prizes for corduroy-wearers :)
