MLB Playoffs change this year

This year in Major League Baseball the playoff system is expanded. There is 2 more Wild Cards now. One more Wild Card in the National League and one more Wild Card in the American League.

So now going into the playoffs each League has 5 teams. ( Total of 10 teams combined and in all of MLB there is 30 teams. So 10 teams out of 30 teams will make the playoffs) The Wild cards in Each League play each other in the First Round for a Elimnation game and the Winner goes on to play a Divison winner.

So as of now the MLB playoffs series format is this 1-5-7-7. Instead of the old Playoff format of 5-7-7.
