September Event Schedule:  14^th  , 21^st, and 28^th.

Monthly: 6SS Games G/35+2.  (Game in 35 minutes with 2 second increment with each move.)

Rounds: Off September 7^th (Rounds 1 & 2/ September 14^th )(Rounds 3 & 4 September 21^st )(Rounds 5 & 6 September 28th) 

Time Control: 2 rounds of G/35+2 each night:

Round Times:  6:00PM & 7:30PM

Eligibility - Players must have:

• Current Chess Express Ratings Member $7 a Year
• com Account that is part of The Kansas City Chess Club (free account is perfectly sufficient)
• Be on our Zoom Meeting to be eligible for Cash Prizes

Pairings: Paired based on swiss tournament rules. Pairings will be on Zoom at 5:30PM Mondays.

Match Command:  Starts a game between two players. Example: /match Knight Bishop 5 0 rated

- NEW: pairing will be done manually using match command on chess.com. You will need to be on chess.com/live and wait for your game to pop up!

- NEW: Pairing will be emailed for Round 1, Round 3, Round 5 and Round 7 on Monday Mornings.

Rating: Games will be Chess Express Rated. www.cxrchess.com

Byes: Zero Point Byes for any round!

Rules: Mouse slips count, no takebacks.  If player is not logged in to live chess when pairings occur, the system will assign a 0-point bye for that round.

Prizes: $150 based on 10 paid entries.

Fair Play Rules: All games will be checked for FAIR PLAY.

Entry Fee: Kansas City Chess Club Members: $20 / Non-Kansas City Chess Club members $30 (Free Entry for Masters!)

Registration Deadline: 2 hours before tournament start time - this is needed to allow time to make sure the chess.com account is set up correctly.
