Moving Saturday Chess Meetup to Rotary Picnic Park

Hello all,

It's that time of the year again: plants bursting into bloom, sun shining, birds singing, and Saturday chess in the park!

Until further notice, our regular Saturday chess meetup (hitherto meeting at Parkland Mall) will move to the picnic tables at Rotary Park (located on 43rd St. at the bottom of Spruce Drive hill). Look for us set up near the lower parking lot. If you can't find parking, remember there is an upper parking lot and overflow parking near the Pidherney Centre.

As usual, please bring a chess set if you have one. It may also be a good idea to bring along some folding chairs and/or a folding table in case space is limited. No worries if you don't have any of that. Just bring yourself!

We will continue to meet around 2pm. In the event of rain or other inclement weather, we will temporarily rendezvous back at Parkland Mall. I will make a post here if that is the case. Please message me if you have any questions. Look forward to seeing you all Saturday!
