Aston Villa tell Manchester United Ron Vlaar will cost upwards of £12m

Villa captain Vlaar will set back any interested party at least £12m if they want to sign him, with Arsenal and the Red Devils thought to be leading the chase, according to the Daily Express.

The 29-year-old is out of contract next summer, but is committed to manager Paul Lambert’s cause and is very likely to renew that deal in the near future.
