My tips for being a 1200 (4) How to avoid unfair trades
Hi guys, another nice day! how are you doing? Yes today, we're going to learn how to make fair trades. Let's begin!
Ok so i think most of you must know what a trade is in a game, and have tried it! Well first thing i want to ask you, have you ever wondered why your opponent should trade with you or why should you trade with your opponent? Incredible right? Trading isn't just a simple way of easilize the position! It's also a way of winning or losing, like in this position...
Black is offering a trade of knight as you can see, it's white to move. If the white knight takes the black knight, and then the other black knight takes the white knight, then the position is gonna be very very bad for white, but if white knight just stay there no moving anywhere, then it's probably a bit safe. (although in the end white is still gonna get checkmated!) But you see black will get checkmated a bit later then!
Ok now here's trade by white, black wants to trade the black rook with the white rook,it's white to move! now let's see if you can spot the unfair trade here! Have a think here!
Ok so the answer is this not a good trade for black, after all the trades the position will end up like this!
Now can you spot the mate in one for white! It's white to move! Leave the answer down in the comment area if you know the answer!
If you understood what is an unfair trades, then congratulations! And again i wanted to tell you something important, just like what i said before, when there's a trade coming, make sure to check why your opponent did it, is it on purpose or is it just a blunder! This ability is very important, if you can't spot your opponent's plan, then you'll probably lose, that's how i was stuck in 800 for almost half a year! This ability is very very hard to obtain, even some GMs can't do it! Ok that's it for today, see you next week, bye!!!
