Camp Groups: Players grouped by peak USCF rating (adults welcome!)
Group size and rating cut-offs may vary
Group 1: 2000+
Group 2: 1600-1999
Group 3: 1400-1599
Group 4: 1100-1399
Group 5: Under 1100
*Please note that because this is the first time the camp is run online, rating cutoffs will be adjusted based on entries.
Relevant Dates: Camp: July 27-30, 2020 (Monday July 27 thru Thursday July 30). Camp run on zoom!
Instructors: All Grandmaster and International Master lineup - number of coaches will be based on students
Registration: Camp tuition is $500.00 (if registered by July 23; after July 23 tuition is $600). Register online at www.events4chess.com. You may attend part of the camp - available at $125 per day if registered in advance; after July 23, $150 per day - those attending less than full camp, please email directors below.
*When registering you must include your chess.com username you will use for the camp. A zoom link will be provided the day before the camp.
Probable Schedule: Classes 9:30 am to 12:15 pm; lunch 12:15 to 1:00 pm; Afternoon classes & tournament, and evening activity (optional) 1 pm to 5:30 pm. All times PDT (EDT is 3 hours ahead).
