I wish for a happy new year to everyone!

Our second Rapid Arena took place yesterday, maybe a bit low on participation this time, but with some great battles though! Congratulations to @KostasMouridis once again for winning back-to-back, successfully defending his Intra-Club title. For the record @greekindian and @blackbishop71 won the second & third prize respectively.

Next week, team classification matches will take place, prior to the upcoming Seasonal Championship. But this week, on Tuesday, we'll have a second chance on a Friendly Classical Chess Match against Metallurg. This time with players under 1600 Elo participating, which might give us some chances on winning more games.

Participation in the friendly is once again of high importance if we'd like to participate in a future Classic Seasonal Championship. Speaking of that, I'm aware that many of our members had difficulty in the past trying to join a Club Friendly Match. The issue here is that while clicking on a Match Title within our "Upcoming Events" tab, instead of being directed on that specific match, most of times, members find themselves in one of our Arenas' home page instead.

The reason behind that is probably that Tournaments in general, are always appearing on top of Upcoming Events' list, even if they are scheduled later than any Matches in the list. However, the solution on that is quite easy. In the New Game part of the platform, Tournaments' Tab is always auto-selected by default. So while in the Arena environment (look @ screenshot 2) chose the Matches' Tab instead and you'll be able to see the first one scheduled in chronological order.

Screenshot 1: Click on a Match Title within the Upcoming Events' List

Screenshot 2: Click the Matches' Tab while on Tournament environment.

Screenshot 3: et voilà! ..you've been landed on the Match you were looking for wink.png

The example seen within the screenshots above, is while using a PC, but it's quite similar when using the App on a mobile device (will be visible after a bit of scrolling down).

I hope I've been of some help to you all!

I finally wish we'll get some positive results this year as a Club and that we'll improve our chess individually.

Your S.A.,

Yannis (aka @DoWnSpOt)
