New Admin, Chessredpanda!

Dear Scratch Chess Club members,

As we near 100 members here on Chess.com, and many more on Scratch, the demands of keeping up with the club have piled up.  We managers and admins do our best, but we're outnumbered and sometimes can't be as responsive as we would like to be, or as you deserve from your admins.  For example, at the time of writing, only two of our admins had logged in to Chess.com within the previous month.

Therefore, after long consideration, we have decided to promote another admin.

I am aware that there were many people on both Scratch and Chess.com who were interested in becoming admins and managers.  I want you all to know that we took the time to consider very closely everyone who had expressed interest over the past few months.  We wanted someone who would be active on both sites, had a long history with the SCC, and could be the helpful and responsive admin you all deserve.  

We would like to congratulate Chessredpanda on his promotion!

Chessredpanda has been with us since July.  Since he joined, he has become one of our most active members on both sites.  On Scratch, he follows (and is followed by) hundreds of users, while on Chess.com, he has completed more than 2,600 games since joining Chess.com in April 2013.  He is also an experienced group administrator, as the Admin or Super-Admin of several other groups.  We feel that with him in our team of admins and managers, we can better address the needs of a club of avid programmers and chess players that is still growing.
