New Analysis Tools
Hey Everyone!
As we work to make chess.com/analysis the home for all of your analysis needs, we have introduced a couple of new tools to help you analyze games.
New tools means even more options! To make sure they are easy to manage but not always in the way we have introduced an Analysis toggle, this master toggle allows you to turn all analysis tools on and off. Using the ellipsis you can fine tune which tools you need at any given time.
Suggestion Arrows is a new tool giving a visual representation on the board of the best available move. This green arrow can be helpful when reviewing games to quickly visualize the best move there may have been in any position. The arrow will only begin to show at engine depth 14, to make sure the first arrow is the most accurate move.
Move Feedback uses our Game Review technology to give you on the fly feedback in the analysis tab. You make a move and the Move Feedback panel will feedback a classification of the move and alternatives for you to consider. If you select the analysis icon at the end of the feedback line, a sideline will be added to your analysis giving you plenty of options to explore with every position and move.
Move Feedback has been available after running a Game Review, this tool is now available without the need to run a full Game Review. This tool is only available to premium users who have access to unlimited Game Review.
Let us know what you think of the tools and how you plan to use them! If you find any bugs or other issues please reach out also
