NEW: Choose Your Coach and Coach Settings

Coach now has a dedicated settings page!

We're getting ready to launch some exciting features involving Coach on Chess.com. To support these features, today we're launching some convenience features to help you use Coach the way that best fits you:

• Choose Your Coach: Choose from four unique chess coaches—David, Mae, Dante, or Nadia— each of which has a different speaking voice that you can hear in Game Review.
  • You may also change your coach from any page where Coach appears! Simply tap on Coach and choose your coach without leaving the page.
  • Stay tuned for more coaches!

• Motivational messages: Coach will appear in various places to track your progress, give you tips, and provide motivational messages.
• Reminders: Coach will remind you to practice and review games.
• Voice: Mutes or unmutes Coach's voice (currently used in Game Review).
• Puzzles:

  • Show puzzle goals - Coach will advise you on the main goal of each puzzle.

  • Show mistake feedback - Coach will help explain your mistakes.

  • Show chat hints- Get advice from Coach when you ask for a hint.
