New Explore Tab in Analysis
Hey all!
We have released an improvement to Analysis, replacing the Openings tab with a new and improved Explore tab. You will now be able to use engine analysis, explorer, and master games on the same page as we work to make chess.com/analysis the one-stop shop for all of your analysis needs.
The Explorer section gives you the top moves in the current position, along with their Win-Draw-Loss results from the Master Games Database. We also have the move played in the game bolded so you can easily compare what you did to what the masters do. High-depth evaluations for common opening moves were also generated with most up-to-date chess engine, Stockfish 16, in order to assist in your analysis
Below the Explorer section, we have a list of Master Games that had the current position. This makes it easy for you to study relevant games from today's top players. The default sorting method takes into account the rating of the players and the recency of the game, but feel free to sort by other methods as well. Expand one of the games to quickly go through the moves, and if it looks interesting then you can select it to add to your analysis session for further analysis.
If you are more interested in studying your own games, then you can change from the Master Games Database to seeing your own games or even the games of other players on Chess.com. This let's you access the same info, but personalized to you.
Give the new Explore tab a try and let us know what you think about it or if you find any bugs. Thanks again as always
