New PRO Feature: Folder Review
There is nothing better than spending a Friday night binge-reading Chessable forums. You’ll find everything there: love, betrayal, friendships forged and destroyed. It’s a whole lore.
It is in the depth of this beautiful chaos where the idea for a new Chessable feature was born. That wasn’t the first time: new ideas pop up there often, some of which are so great that we implement them, while others are both illegal and impossible at the same time.
Let me introduce you to our newest feature born from the forums: Folder Review. It builds on top of our Folders feature, allowing you to study all courses in the selected folder. It’s a simple concept, yet an effective one. Imagine you have a tournament game with White coming up. You can put all your opening courses for White into a folder and only study that folder to prepare.
Another approach would be to group all your tactics courses into one folder and study that applying the Woodpecker Method.
Did you know that Magnus Carlsen uses a random number generator to select an opening for his next game? So maybe one folder for 1.e4, a separate one for 1.d4 and 1.c4, and then roll the dice like the 5-time World Champion.
Speaking of which, you may choose to study the courses inside the folder in a regular spaced repetition order or at random by toggling this icon.
In each folder, you’ll see a counter of how many moves are waiting for your review.
Folder Review gives you tools to make your training more focused and effective. It is available now for Chessable PRO users. And if you’re still not a PRO member, you can get PRO on sale now.
And don’t miss out on what’s happening on the forum! Maybe you have a suggestion to share, or maybe you’ll find new friends and new chess ideas.
