News, news, news (and sub battles upcoming, read below!)

It's been a while now so let's make a round-up of what happened lately.
Do you remember that announcement almost 2 weeks ago that I was going to play a sub battle against WGM Dina Belenkaya? Well, it already happened! It was a super exciting event, and even some high-level GMs as Baadur Jobava and Maxim Chigaev were playing in it, but the real fun stuff happened at the lower boards. The last 4-5 games with their unpredictability were simply golden and can be replayed over and over! A true drama was unfolding because our team with some incredible luck managed to tie the score before the deciding game with 7-7 and the fate of the match was decided in a heart-stopping final game! Just when we're about to take the final game and sensationally win the match, Dinasaurs were a little luckier this time and snatched the win, but the talks of a rematch were immediately in the air. 
Last Sunday I and Pawngrubber organized an adoption match which has become a very popular format among streamers. Obviously, I was a big rating favorite, but in order to clinch the victory in the match, I had to win 10 games in a row in a time limit of 90 minutes, otherwise, I lose! Easier said than done - it seemed that I was cruising to a smooth win in the first 10 games, but then I blundered in the 10th game, with half of the time already gone! 
Luckily I managed to win the required amount of games in the remaining time and now Pawngrubber has promised to do a special stream, where he will cover my best games. I'll be watching the stream with some popcorn.
Right after the adoption match after a bigger pause, I organized the 8th Arena of the club, which drew the attention of 48 players in total, which is a new record!

Inspired by the success of the two aforementioned collabs with other streamers, I decided to organize TWO more sub battles. The next one will be held this Friday (12th February) at 18:00 CET, and against the creative trio from ChessDojo, who was organizing the Ultimate Sensei! Remember them and my best reactions, compiled by Dylan? BTW, he is working on a video compilation from the sub battle with Dina, as we speak!
Pre-registration for the sub battle vs ChessDojo is already open, and you can do it in my Discord channel which was opened two weeks ago, thanks to Erv! Are you already there? We are slowly growing but this is where you can find me on a daily basis. If you are a sub of my Twitch channel and would like to participate, make sure to sync your Discord account with Twitch and you will be given the Subscriber role in no time! Once it's done, you should be able to see our secret sub lounge with free cookies and everything! Apart from that, I'll be happy to see in the Discord channel everyone as it's not only for subs but anyone who likes my streams!
A week later, also on Friday (19th February), I will organize another sub battle, this time with Angelika "Chessborn" Valkova. She's recently joined the Chess.com Streamer program and has kindly agreed to compete, should be fun! The registration for the event will start right after finishing the match vs ChessDojo.
