No respect for your opponent

Hi all,

We're all proud of our club, which is thriving while retaining its friendly spirit and passion for chess.

Despite this, we deplore the large number of forfeits in our tournaments caused by players who sign up and then don't show up! This tarnishes the image we intend to give to our future members and is at the root of many non-combat defeats.

Faced with this serious and recurring problem, we have decided to penalize those who don't accept their responsibility (and consequently, don't respect their opponents): A FORFEIT WITHOUT REASON WILL HENCEFORTH RESULT IN PERMANENT EXCLUSION FROM THE CLUB.
