Already we were faced with such excellent choices for blog of the month that we could not pick just one (and we could easily pick 10). This November both FM Andrey Terekhov and Peter Wong are blog of the month winners!

Their timely pieces on world championships present a nice contrast. FM Terekhov presents a meticulously researched historical piece on the 1935 match between Alekhine and Euwe. He includes excellent quotes and archival content, allowing the reader to experience the sentiments of a chess era gone by.

Meanwhile, Wong presents a modern perspective on the world championship, illuminating deep engine analysis and tablebase use by the super-computer Sesse in the just concluded Carlsen vs. Caruana match.
