In chess she Learned moves at 5 years old, but nobody wanted to play or teach her, had to teach her self. Cut classes to go to chess park and pay to play (and lose). Mustve lost 100 games before she won her first. she loved/hated the game . Playing on and off since.

1. Its like Kung Fu/war/gladiator fighting, only better,  it has more styles, requires same discipline and like any martial arts, the match can end with one blow.  The best part is, you cant see the bruises and scars left behind.

2. Im too deep in it, with the time and effort ive given to chess, I cant back out now can I?,  Im not a master... and will never have the time to be, but in those moments when Im winning, I feel like one. And the moments Im losing, presents me the opportunity to come back and turn the game around, an even better way to win.

3. Its safer than bungee jumping. Skydiving, and motorcross racing. Also, you can eat a pizza while playing chess. Of course you can also eat a pizza while doing the other three, but indigestion is sure to follow.
