Open Qualifiers Fairplay: The Use Of Proctor Is Required
Dear Players,
Please be advised that using Proctor is mandatory for all players during the Freestyle Chess Open Qualifiers. You will not be able to join the tournament unless you connect to the tournament page through Proctor.
We suggest preparing ahead of time so that you are ready at the event's start. Please refer to the Players Guide and the Proctor webpage for information regarding Proctor setup and usage.
What is Proctor?
Proctor is a monitoring program that keeps track of a few things on players' computers while playing prize events. In essence, Proctor is a browser wrapped inside of an executable file. Once you download, install, and run the program, it feels like logging in to the Chess.com website from any other browser. This method is commonly used worldwide during online exams where supervision is necessary.
