First Open Streets Event

Thanks to y'all, our first Open Streets chess event with the Prospect Heights Neighborhood Development Council (PHNDC) was a huge success!  We had a nice group of PPCC regulars, but I was pleasanltly surprised by how many community members joined us after just strolling by and seeing the chess setup.  As a result of the great turnout, we've been invited to become a regular fixture at the Open Streets event every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.  We're also working to secure a possible partnership with some of the surrounding businesses, so keep showing up and showing out!

Our next scheduled Open Streets event is September 21st at Underhill Plaza, so keep an eye on the discord for up-to-the-minute details.
