Other Opportunities

There are other chess clubs/groups in eastern N.C.  The Rocky Mount group meets weekly on Saturdays.  The Washington club meets on Monday evenings.  There is also a group meeting in New Bern but the largest and most active group meets every Wednesday evening at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Greenville.  They are sponsoring a U.S.Chess Federation tournament this Saturday the 17th.  Details about the tournament and other activities are explained on their web page at http://www.freewebs.com/eastcarolinachess/  If you are interested in details any of these groups just send us a message.  Keep encouraging others at school to join in with The Knights!
